Leather requires special attention to prevent cracking, fading, and dye transfer. Learn our professional methods for cleaning and conditioning.
Leather seats add a touch of luxury to any vehicle, but they require regular maintenance to stay soft and supple. Over time, UV rays, extreme temperatures, and the transfer of body oils and clothing dyes (especially blue jeans) can cause leather to dry out, crack, and discolor.
The key to proper leather care is a two-step process: cleaning and conditioning. First, we use a pH-balanced leather cleaner and a soft-bristled brush to gently lift dirt and oils out of the leather's pores. Harsh household cleaners should never be used on automotive leather, as they can strip the protective topcoat.
Once the leather is perfectly clean, we apply a premium, aloe-based conditioner. This replenishes essential oils, restores the soft texture, and leaves a matte, factory-fresh finish without being greasy or slippery. For ultimate protection, we also offer ceramic leather coatings that block dye transfer and UV damage.
